This series is on permanent exhibition at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. The plates and fabrics in each photograph are collected from around the world. Through the use of shadowless light, the plates appear flattened. If you look closely, you will see, as part of the design, real flowers, fruits or vegetables.
